NEEDS A DESCRIPTIVE PARAGRAPH REGARDING THE CRITICAL IMPORTANCE OF PROPER FACULTY NAD STAFF COMPENSATION AND WHAT THE IMPACT OF PROPER FUNDING WILL REPRESENT IN THE BETTERMENT OF THE SCHOOL.

Recommended: Christian educator Dr. Paul Kienel said many years ago, "The task of training our children to center their lives in Christ and outfitting them for the future is no less than our number one mission in life. Christian school education stands ready to assist in that all-important responsibility."

If that is the case, shouldn't we be deliberate about fostering the individuals who execute this monumental responsibility? Isn't it about time we, as a Christian community, accepted the responsibility of our leadership in Christian education by constructing the apparatus that will ensure our Christian school faculty are compensated at a level which is at least commensurate with faculty in the public sector?

Our answer should be a resounding "Yes!" and William Jennings Bryan tells us why, providing clarity to our mission. "If civilization is to be saved from the wreckage threatened by intelligence not consecrated by love, it must be saved by the moral code of the meek and lowly Nazarene. His teachings, and His teachings alone, can solve the problems that vex the heart and perplex the world."*

By 2025, our strategic goal is to raise $ 2.5 million to build faculty and staff salaries and benefits to a level that is competitive with the top 10% of independent schools nationally. In addition to competitive pay for our servant leaders, the school is working to cultivate a matching 401K program.
